Well, I just got back from a wonderful visit to the North West country. I took a much needed vacation to the Oregon Coast, where I visited my Cousin for a couple of days in Portland and then traveled to the coast. My Cousin, David, said that it had been overcast for the last two weeks, but the day we arrived it was sunny and clear. Seemed that the weather was nice for our entire trip except for the last day, where it was overcast the entire day until our airplane pulled out of the clouds as we lifted off in Portland. It was sunny the entire trip back to my little home in Oklahoma City.
While I was on the Pacific coast of Oregon, I visited several Lighthouses, along with the Aquarium and some of the beaches. Although it was too cold for this Oklahoma boy to swim, I noticed several young men surfing. But the thing that I feel was the one thing that had the most impact on my visit, were the lighthouses.
Of course, you are wondering what that has to do with you. Well, if you are a reader of my blogs, you will remember that I recently watched the movie "The Secret." I believe that through my being attracted to the movie, and it to me, that I feel sort of like a lighthouse to shine. So I plan to do so. NOW!
I recently read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad."

It offers up teaching that the author got while growing up from two totally different perspectives about making and handling money. I believe it is helping me and may even help you become richer by putting these principles into practice.
